Helen Chamberlain presents Sky Sports Soccer Am every Saturday morning at 9:00 am BST, and Sky’s All Sports show every Friday afternoon at 6:00 pm BST. Helen is a world class poker player winning the 2005 Ladbrokes Super Star Showdown and coming 2nd in the Sky Poker Millions show, winning $500,000 in prize money. She also has a weekly column in The Sportsman newspaper.

Helen started playing poker online for small stakes just a few years ago. She won her first celebrity match shortly after she first started playing and was invited to play in the Poker Millions tournament where she came in second in a field of 72 finalists. Like many poker players, Helen prefers online play to a live game, but is still ready to take on the most aggressive player in a head-to-head challenge. Having worked on Soccer AM for over a decade, she's used to dealing with all the macho posturing and simply ignores it.

Helen is a devoted fan of Torquay United Football Club as evidence by her tattoo of the club badge. She also owns a racehorse, Birkspiel, which she purchased with some of her poker winnings. On his first outing for her in April 2006 he won a €50,000 group 3 race. One month later he finished 3rd in a Group 2 race.
