Downloading

• How do I download Pokerwize?

  To download Pokerwize, click on the Download Now button on the home page. You will be given a choice of saving the installer or running it. Choose run and the download will commence. When the file is fully downloaded, the game will automatically start installing. Because Pokerwize contains so many features, depending upon your connection speed, it may take a while to download the entire program.

• Problems downloading Pokerwize
  • The download doesn't begin.

    If the download doesn't begin it is possible that you are having trouble with your internet connection or other technical error. Try checking your internet connection and restarting your computer. If the download still doesn't start, contact customer service.

  • The download file appears to be blocked.

    If the download file is blocked, check your firewall settings. If your firewall is set to permit the download, try checking your internet connection and restarting your computer. If the download is still blocked, contact customer service.

  • After downloading the installation file doesn't auto run.

    If the install file doesn't start installing Pokerwize automatically, it is possible that you chose to save the program rather than run it upon download. Locate the file on your computer and double click it. The game should start installing automatically.

Installing

• What will be installed on my PC?

  A great game! Also, an executible program file, some sound and graphic images that make the game great, and various other files that make the game work on your computer.

• How long should it take to install?

  Pokerwize is packed with lots of features, and the install progam will automatically check for updates and additions when it is first run. Because of this, depending upon your connection speed, it could take up to 25 minutes to install the program in full. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

• Where is Pokerwize installed?

  By default, Pokerwize will be installed in your Programs folder in a new folder called 'Pokerwize'. You can change the destination folder prior to the start of the installation by selecting the appropriate folder when you are prompted.

• What does my poker level represent?

  During installation of Pokerwize, you will be asked to select your poker level, Virgin, Beginner or [SOMETHING ELSE]. Depending upon the level you choose, the default options for the game will be configured differently.

• Problems with installation
  • The installation does not complete

    There are a number of reasons why installation of Pokerwize might be interrupted. If your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements the installation may fail. The installation will not work if you do not have enough free disk space on your hard drive to fit the entire game. Since the installation program checks for updates, installation will not complete if you are not connected to the internet at the time of the installation or if you get disconnected during the installation process. Finally, you have to agree to the End User License Agreement before Pokerwize will install. If you haven't you will not be able to proceed with the installation.
